Subcutaneous Ureteral Bypass system(SUB)

Feature:

SUB is a solution for animal with obstructed ureter. It could create a new tunnel to bypass the ureter and maintain the flow of urine from kidney to bladder.

The SUB device effectively bypasses an obstructed ureter. It consists of two catheters (renal pelvis to port, port to bladder) connected by a port. The port sits below the skin and allows urine flows through each catheter and, therefore, passes from the kidney to bladder bypassing the ureter. Veterinarians can also clean the tubes or sampling through the port.

For some animals not able to place catheter on bladder (e.g., bladder tumor), we provide an alternative solution to suture the catheter on foreskin. In this case, it will bypass both ureters and bladder, the urine flows from kidney directly to outside.
